But you see there are also people who spend their nighttime entertainment over food and dining. In Austin, Texas, there are many places where you can eat at regular dining hours. But when the hour becomes late, you may wonder if there are any good restaurants that are still left open. If you feel hungry and need to get your stomach filled after enjoying the city’s nighttime attractions, below are the best places where you can eat late in Austin city.

One excellent restaurant to go is Denny’s. This restaurant operates 24/7 and it has a delicious offering of breakfast and casual family dining from salads to burgers and cracked eggs. What’s also great in this restaurant is that they have this “kids eat free” promo that allows 2 kids to dine free with each purchase adult meals.

Another one is the International House of Pancake (IHOP) which offer traditional American breakfast and brunch. You can have eggs, pancakes, French Toasts and hashbrowns from this place before you head home for the night.

If you partied, Austin nightlife can make you feel hungry. After clubbing and dancing, coming to Magnolia Café is one of the best things that you can do. The restaurant is also open 24-hours and you can have a great sampling of new American dishes, mostly of the breakfast and brunch types. You can enjoy Tex-Mex cooking here and love their vegetable-friendly dishes. The ambiance of the place is warm and it feels like you are dining from home.

Museums are commonly open during the day and close by 5pm in the afternoon. With these schedules, people who are at work during the day shift will have no more time to immerse themselves in the rich culture and history that is showcased inside these wonderful places. It’s good to know then that Austin nightlife is not all about clubbing and dining as there are a few museums that open their doors at night for some evening viewing.

Families with children need not wait for the weekends to go to the Austin’s Children Museum.

When darkness sets in, ghostly entertainment can be sought in the city of Austin. With the rich culture this city has enjoyed, it’s no wonder that some people who passed away would prefer to remain above its plane. There are many places where one can seek ghostly adventures in this city. They can travel to well-known spooky bridges, stay in hotels where ghost sightings abound or simply dine on places with reports of paranormal occurrences.

Going on a nighttime road trip just might give you a scary thrill when you reach the Jake’s Bridge on Jake’s Hill Road area or take a visit on a bridge located near the Richard Moya Park. In Jake’s Bridge, the vehicle moves on its own despite having the engine totally shut down. In many cases, handprints can be seen on the hood of the car, too. On the bridge near the Richard Moya Park, there is a huge possibility that you might encounter ghosts in outdated clothing as there have been reports of many suicide attempts here from the past.

If you don’t wish to travel, you can simply sit back and relax in your room and wait for a possible apparition of ghosts in the Driskill Hotel and at the Inn in Pearl Street. Many people have attested to seeing the ghost of a little girl who died in the Driskill Hotel while the Inn at Pearl Street has reports of paranormal happenings.

If you wish to combine dining and ghost hunting, head off to restaurants such as Clay Pit, Mug Shots, The Hideout, Buffalo Billiards and the Fado Irish Club. These establishments have famous reports of haunting experiences so you just might be able to have some frightful fun while you dine and wine.

Austin nightlife has so much to offer. When you stroll the streets come evening time, you won’t be short of things to do. This is because the city offers a wide variety of vibrant entertainment from live music clubs to comedy bars.

Austin won’t be called the Live Music Capital of the World for nothing. It gained the so-called title for there are significantly more live music venues per capita in it as compared to other music hotbeds in the whole US. Thus, every night hundreds of clubs operate in this city order to provide live music venues for everybody. From 6th Street, Red River, Warehouse District, Market District to East Austin, bars and clubs are bustling and bursting with different kinds of musical performances. There are places dedicated purely to jazz, alternative rock, R&B, punk, pop, indie, country, rock, folk and many others. When you go out at night, you can be sure to find the venues that will match your musical preference or you can go adventurous and try out other genres to explore.

Comedy bar entertainment is always sought after by many people in order to have some nighttime fun. In Austin, there are plenty of comedy bars that offer hilarious entertainment nightly. Examples of these are Esther’s Follies and the Velveeta Room, both of which are very excellent places for stand-up comedy and magical shows. Most of the comedy bars in the city also offer food and drinks so you can have some great fun while you have a hearty dinner with your family and friends. There are also musical performances that can be had in between.
